Extinguished Sparks

Yom haShoah
Commemoration and Communication
An evening of silence and reflection

What do the events of WWII mean
in our lives?

     Extinguished sparks
     ash-grey
     lie along remote tracks
     endlessly

     Many trains came this way

     The derailed wind
     calls
     the names of the dead
